This past March, I wrote an essay called The Revenge of the Atoms. Three things are colliding: the tokenization of everything, AI, and quantum.

Blockchain lets ownership exist natively on the internet. AI is eating software, and agents now act at machine speed. At the same time, quantum is coming. When it arrives, most of today’s cryptography will break.

Software cannot secure this world. It is a battle of code against code, and the attacker only needs to be right once.
