Ledger Live – Securely Supporting ERC-20 Tokens

One year ago, we proudly unveiled Ledger Live, an all-in-one companion application for our hardware wallets. Our mission was to make crypto assets and device management accessible in one convenient place on Ledger Nano S and Ledger Nano X wallets.

Ledger Live was an innovative follow-up to the old Chrome applications. Rather than having several applications to manage different crypto assets, Ledger Live introduced a single platform to enhance user-experience. Over time, more and more features have been introduced. 

Today, we’re taking Ledger Live to the next level.

Our latest version of the application, Ledger Live v.1.14.0, will support 22 coins and an extensive list of ERC-20 tokens. It will also give users the ability to manage a wide array of different crypto assets in real-time, while letting them send and receive coins from their mobile and desktop devices all through a single app without ever compromising control of private keys. 

Users will never again have to manage different wallets while transacting with Bitcoin, Ether, XRP — and now also over 1,250 ERC-20 tokens — compatible with our devices. We have created a truly borderless solution by integrating a stellar software — Ledger Live — into our line of the most trusted hardware wallets on the market while never relinquishing the maximum level of security we embed in each of our devices.

This is the latest milestone for the Ledger community. It’s our mission to ensure that everyone who owns crypto can store their assets securely through the most advanced security technology on the market. We’ve heard what our community has asked for. We’ve been taking time to develop the mobile app, improving the interface and usability while feeding the appetite for more coins on the platform.

Today’s update is a major step forward for Ledger Live and just one of many more to come. We’re committed to our community and understand the importance of making it possible for users to manage their portfolios of crypto assets on the go in one single convenient place. While the ERC-20 token integration has brought a plethora of new cryptocurrencies to Ledger Live, we still aim to add even more crypto assets to the platform.
