Ledger Multisig is an experience and security layer built on top of Safe’s open-source infrastructure, meaning there is zero migration required.

Simply connect your Ledger signer, and our interface automatically discovers and displays all of your organization’s existing Safe accounts.

Our dashboard provides a unified command center, displaying an aggregated fiat balance across all your Safes, giving you an immediate, holistic overview of your organization’s financial position.

Executing Payments with Increased Certainty

The most frequent and critical task for any treasury is executing payments. This is also where the greatest risk lies.

Consider a typical payment workflow: a treasurer copies a partner’s address from an invoice, pastes it into the web UI, enters the amount, and prepares to sign. They are forced to trust that their computer’s clipboard hasn’t been hijacked by malware and that the interface itself isn’t presenting false information.

Ledger Multisig replaces this trust with cryptographic truth. Our process provides two distinct layers of protection:

1. Proactive Threat Intelligence: Before you even sign, our integrated Transaction Checks can provide warnings for malicious dApps, contracts, or addresses directly on your Ledger device’s secure screen. This acts as an early warning system against known threats.
2. Uncompromising Clear Signing: A single source of truth for transaction security. When you go to approve the payment, your Ledger signer displays the true, immutable details of the transaction in plain, human-readable language. This is done via your Ledger signer’s Secured Screen directly connected to the Secure Element.

Instead of an ambiguous hex string, your device screen will show:

The true security is realized on your Ledger signer. When you approve a transaction to a saved contact, the device’s secure screen will display not just the address but the verified name from your Address Book.

This on-device name verification provides a premium level of assurance, confirming the cryptographic address matches the whitelisted recipient data. The ease of confirming a label vs a blob of data transforms recurring payment operations, making them both faster and significantly more secure.

Beyond Payments: Secure Portfolio Management

Modern treasuries do more than just send and receive. With our integrated Swap functionality, a treasury manager can now rebalance assets with the same confidence and clarity as a simple payment.

When a treasury needs to convert 100 ETH to USDC, a standard interface forces them to sign a complex interaction with a DEX aggregator, often with little on-chain clarity. Ledger Multisig mitigates this ambiguity. The device parses the transaction and displays its core intent:

• Action: Swap (via 1inch)
• Minimum Received: 320,000 USDC
• Maximum Sent: 100 ETH

This on-device verification provides a robust defense against slippage manipulation or malicious router attacks, offering premium security for the entire financial workflow.
