Decentralized, cost-effective and robust storage network
As a decentralized peer-to-peer file storage network powered by blockchain, Filecoin lets you store, retrieve and host digital information without relying on a centralized entity. Anyone with available storage space can rent it out on the Filecoin network.
FIL is Filecoin’s native currency, used as payment for the network’s services and as an economic incentive to ensure that files are stored reliably over time.

Ledger welcomes external integrations from developers and foundations across the industry. Our code is open source, and everyone is welcome to build and integrate on the Ledger platform.
Most of the coin applications available on Ledger are submitted by third-party developers. For example, our partner Zondax has delivered the full integration with Ledger Live for Filecoin (FIL).
On Ledger’s Developer Portal, blockchain teams and developers can find comprehensive guidelines for every step of the integration process—sample code, toolkits, APIs, test plans, and much more.
