Welcome to the third Release Notes of 2026, every new upgrade to Ledger’s secure ecosystem in one place.
This release is about money flow: value moving in, moving across chains, and moving out into everyday life. Ledger Wallet™ already gives a clear view of what you hold, how your assets are performing, and the choice of 50 providers and 100 chains to trade across. Now in Ledger Wallet™ with Yield.xyz, you can borrow stablecoins against wrapped BTC and cbBTC, and direct access on Morpho extends connectivity for lending & borrowing.
But the safest money flow is the one your signer enables you to verify.
Ledger signers keep your private keys offline and protected by a certified Secure Element, and show every transaction on a Secure Screen for human review and physical approval, with Clear Signing translating contract code into plain language.

- Crypto Loan powered by Morpho via Yield.xyz: Morpho is an onchain credit network; the smart contracts govern every interaction, and your collateral stays on-chain rather than sitting on someone else’s balance sheet. Yield.xyz handles the technical integration, natively inside the app you already use.
- Deposit wrapped Bitcoin, borrow stablecoins: Use wrapped Bitcoin – cbBTC or wBTC – as collateral to borrow USDC or USDT directly in Ledger Wallet™, without selling your holdings. Deposit your wrapped Bitcoin, borrow the stablecoins you need, and keep your Bitcoin exposure for the life of the loan.*
- You stay in control of the position: Native Loan-to-Value (LTV) monitoring, in-app collateral management, and a jargon-free interface let you supply more collateral, repay, borrow more, or withdraw at any stage, with the risk information in view at every step. You can even simulate a loan before you commit.
- Clear Signing the whole loan lifecycle: From the initial approval and collateral supply through to repayment and withdrawal, every contract function appears in plain, human-readable language on your signer’s Secure Screen before you approve it.
- Keys stay offline: Whatever you are moving, your private keys are generated and locked inside the Secure Element and never leave your Ledger signer. The app connects you to the ecosystem; the signer confirms your intent.
